Bombardier’s Learjet 45XR is an updated version of the Lear 45, introduced in 2004 and featuring the upgraded “BR” engines. These upgraded engines offer increased takeoff weights, extended range, faster cruise speeds, faster climb rates, improved hot-and-high performance, and more fuel-efficient flights. In addition to the engine upgrade, the XR model features a modern cabin redesign with reduced cabin noise. Additional amenities include dual temperature controls, aft lavatory, an entertainment system and 15 cubic feet of cabin-accessible baggage space, strengthening Bombardier’s reputation for producing arguably the most comfortable light jet on the market. In the early 2000s, quieter cabins were often sought after, and Learjet’s XR upgrades offered just that.
